Advanced Esthetics Solutions has launched she-lase the first laser with mixed modality using CO₂ and 1540nm for Gynaecology.
Manufactured by Quanta Systems, the pioneers of mixed modality, have chosen these two tried and tested wavelengths for its significant clinical results with minimal post-treatment recovery, unlike most of other lasers for vaginal treatments who are using just ablative lasers. To stimulate the mucosa’s collagen the treatment must be performed to ablate at least the superficial dermis. The thermal diffusion under the ablated arears using CO₂ is minimal, using Er:YAG is almost inexistent. The Shelase using 1540nm and 10600nm in sequential emission is the ideal technology for vaginal atrophy to stimulate new collagen formation, more hydration and less post treatment bruising and risk of infection.
The she-lase requires no maintenance or any consumables, its unique scanner functions enables the practitioner to control the level of energy, pulse width and duration in each modality. The vaginal probe with its pyramidal reflector enables you to target the mucosa at 90°, 180° and 360° without the rotation of the handpiece which can be very uncomfortable with other platforms.
- Vaginal Atrophy
- SUI (stress urinary incontinence)
- Vulvar remodelling
- Vaginal rejuvenation
Douglas Sykes, Managing Director AES……The she-lase is a very unique platform, the clinical results speak for themselves, with 50% of women over the age of 50 suffering with SUI the market for this platform is Huge. With zero maintenance and consumable cost the return on investment is very quick and patient satisfaction very high.
Dr A Webber from BodyVie in Richmond, Dr K Misra from Global Health & Beauty and Dr L Thomas from The ME Clinic all attended the soft launch in Rome organised by AES and were so impressed with the platform they are all introducing it to their practice in July and have become ambassadors of the she-lase
